Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) today announced that the trials for selection of Nagaland Junior Boys team will be conducted on July 15, 3PM onwards at the JV Foundation Basket Court, Signal Angami.
The selected players will represent Nagaland in the forthcoming 48th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship scheduled to be held in Puducherry from August 3-9, informed a press release from the NBA.
Only players born on or after January 1, 2020 are eligible to take part in the trials, it said, further informing them to bring their birth certificate and Aadhar card to the venue.
Meanwhile, the Association further noted that as per the Basketball Federation of India’s (BFI) guidelines, players are required to bring original birth certificates issued by the Municipal Corporation/ Registrar of Birth & Death obtained within 3 years of their birth during the Championship.
