Mokokchung, February 16 (MExN): A two-day event of badminton under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Beti (BBPB) khilao badminton tournament for girls and women at Mokokchung concluded on February 12.
The tournament organized by the District Administration & DLCW- MSK (BBBP) Mokokchung district and co-hosted by Mokokchung District Badminton Association started on February 11.
In the closing programme, a DIPR report stated that ADC Mokokchung Shashank Pratap Singh IAS gave away certificates with cash awards to the winners and runners up in the tournament.
The results of the tournament: Under 11 Category singles Champion: Yalemjungla, Runner-up- Moakumla; Under 15 Champion: Imlikumla, Runner-up: Temjennaro; Open Category singles Champion: Mepulila, Runner-up: Watisungla; Under 15 Doubles Champion Imsusenla Longkumer & Temjennaro, Runners-up Yalemjungla & Repatula Longkumer; Open Doubles Champion Arenchila & Sunepbenla, Runners-up Watisungla & Imlikumala.
