BCCI women’s U19: Bihar eclipse Nagaland eves

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 5 (MExN): Nagaland under-19 women’s were eclipsed by Bihar in the former’s third outing at the ongoing BCCI Under-19 Women’s One-Day Trophy at Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The Bihar eves overcame the winning target of 134 in 37.4 overs with 3 wickets to spare at the TATA Digwadih Stadium, Dhanbad today.   The run chase was marshaled by Tejeshwi, Kumari and Manshi, who scored 25, 20 and 14, respectively. Nagaland’s Muskan was the pick of the bowlers, who claimed 5. She was supported well by Arpana, who took 2.   Nagaland had posted 133 in the allotted 50 overs losing 9 wickets. Captain Elina top scored with 32 runs, followed by Kanika (20runs) and Muskan (19runs). In the opponent’s bowling camp, Apurva and Kumari claimed 3 wickets apiece.   Nagaland’s next match is on November 7 against Arunachal Pradesh.
