The Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID), in collaboration with National Domestic Workers Movement (NDWM) Nagaland Region, organised a summer camp for 187 children involved in the Child Rights Movement. The programme held under the theme “Together we learn, Together we Grow,” featured various competitions including extempore speech, quiz, action songs and fun games that encouraged active participation and teamwork. The Administrative Training Institute (ATI) has commenced the first batch of mandatory foundation training for all Directorate Ministerial Staff Services from July 13. The one-month programme, comprising three weeks of classroom instruction and a one-week examination, has been initiated under Rule 8 of the Nagaland Directorate Ministerial Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2025. The training covers Office Procedure and Management, Finance and Accounts Matters, Service Matters, IT, Soft Skills and Legal Matters. Experts from various government departments and ATI are serving as resource persons. S Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, before departing to attend the Monsoon Parliament session. During the meeting, Jamir exchanged greetings with the Governor and briefly discussed matters concerning the welfare and development of Nagaland.
Neikuonuo Kense, Imlinochet Longkumer and Shesalu Vadeo represented Nagaland at the United Colours of North East India event in London on July 11 last under the aegis of North East Indians in UK (NEIUK). They joined fashion show and performed folk song. Shesalu Vadeo also exhibited four of her artworks at the event.
