BCREC to receive health support from TMH Durgapur

Management of Dr BC Roy Engineering College, Durgapur and The Mission Hospital, Durgapur during the signing of MoU at the college premises few days back.

Durgapur, February 24 (MExN): Dr BC Roy Engineering College, Durgapur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Mission Hospital (TMH), Durgapur  on February 20 to extend medical facilities for students and employees.

According to a press release received here, the the signatories of the MoU were Dr Pijush Pal Roy, Director, BCREC and Ramesh Lall, Sr. G.M-HRD, TMH Durgapur.

During the signing, Dr Partha Pal, Chief Medical Superintendent, TMH and  Dr Roy lauded the endeavour and said that  it would extend health protection for both students & employees and ensure peace of mind for guardians who send their children from distant locations.

Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary, BCREC also explaining the different aspects of the agreement informed that “from now onwards, support from the best Super speciality Hospital of this region will be available for entire BCREC Fraternity,” the release said.

R Roy Chowdhury, President,  J. Singh, Treasurer, Dr Debasish Ghosh, Dy. Medical Superintendent, Dr Tribeni Deb Barman also graced the occasion, it added.

Students, faculty, Officers and other employees of the college, the release further added, would benefit with medical facilities.

 Another MOU was signed later, for the Bidhannagar campus accommodating both Dr BC Roy College of Pharmacy & AHS and Dr BC Roy Polytechnic.
