Peren, June 4 (MExN): A felicitation programme for HSLC & HSSLC successful candidates of Peren community was jointly organised by Peren Council (apex body of all Peren villages), Peren Government Employees’ Union, Peren Baptist Mipui Nkwa, Peren Youth Federation and Peren Students’ Union on June 4 at Peren Baptist Mipui Kangbau Hall, Peren Town.
The main speaker of the programme, Dr. Ndangkie Ndang, Secretary, Peren Council exhorted and encouraged the students to be an asset to the society and not a liability. He said that the students ought to give back to the society what they have learnt throughout the process of education. Dr. Ndangkie also asked the students community to follow their heart’s desire in choosing their career.
Dr. Zieleigai Ndang, President, Peren Govt. Employees’ Union felicitated the students by presenting a gift to them. The successful candidates were blessed by pastors Rev. Suitei, Dr. Hiazuheing and Hiarwa Sephe.
A special number was presented by Lungsigong and his colleagues at the programme which was chaired by Rampauyi and P David. The vote of thanks and benediction were delivered by Kiezeuh Sephe and Hiarwa Sephe respectively.
