B.Ed trainees seek exemption for poll duty

Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): In-service B.Ed trainees has requested the Chief Election Commissioner, Government of Nagaland to exempt them from normal election related trainings and duties, as it is clashing with their internship training and end semester examination. An open letter on behalf “entire In-service B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) trainee across the state” to CEO Nagaland informed that their enlistment for the bye-election to the lone Lok Sabha seat clashes with crucial preparation of reports, journal writing, internship, and lesson plans in limited time period regaining from recent concluded General Assembly election duty. The internship training, end semester examination and NU external Viva Voce examination are starting from second week of May, it added. The open letter was written by a B.Ed trainee of Modern institute of teacher Education(MITE), Kohima and SCCTE, Dimapur.
