Bhandari departments asked to focus on infrastructures

Wokha, October 16 (MExN): The departmental monthly coordination meeting of Bhandari sub division was held at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, on October 16.


Highlighting on the recent proposed visit to Bhandari village, ADC, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang stated that all weather road connectivity, water supply, health care  and school facilities in the village needs to be taken into concern for better functioning and asked some of the members present to do the needful within their departmental capacity. The PHE department, while giving  a presentation on its activities, reported that the department has helped in improving public sanitation and problems of water shortage has been addressed up to commendable extent and also stated that public are encouraged to use water  from gravity source rather than from pump source for cost affective matter.


The house discussed on the possibilities of effective rain water harvesting methods which will be helpful for the hill area villages of the sub division. Matters relating to government site encroachment was discussed the ADC reiterated that it is a must for every department to obtain and maintain official land pattas for their respective departments. It was approved that the officers’ forum, Bhandari will have a programme of Tokhü feast on November 6.


Wednesday being designated as a day of “Traditional dress day” for Bhandari sub division, all the member officers attended the meeting in traditional dresses.
