Dimapur, April 30 (MExN): Bikee Dutta, a student of Unity College, was crowned Mister Dimapur 2023 during the grand finale of the 3rd Season held at Lorin Hall, Tetso College on April 29.
A total of 17 contestants participated in the event, which was organised by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland (MEN) in association with Achievers’ Academy.
The contestants went through three rounds of ethnic wear, designer, and formal wear.
Pongennok and Thushi Jr were awarded the first and second runner-up titles, respectively.
The three winners of Mister Dimapur 2023 receive a direct entry to the 13th Edition Mega Mister Northeast, considered the biggest manhunt in the region, informed a media release from the organiser received here.
The title sponsor was Eduversity, and the first and second runner-up titles were respectively sponsored by LISU Care and Kino World.
The three winners receive a diploma course worth Rs 10,000 from Instudia, an IT institute.
The judges included Jason Prakash, CEO of Eduversity; Enyuh Phom, Vice President of MEN; Esther Imsong, Director Marcofed Government Of Nagaland; Alem Jamir, Educator, and Teacher's Trainer; and Vihuzo Kense, Mr Kohima and Mister Northeast 2023.
In the sub-title category, Thushi Jr won the title of Mr. Popularity, Imtiniba Kichu won Mr. Multimedia, Pongennok won Best Ethnic Wear, and Dutta won Mr Personality.
The event was hosted by Zaren Ngullie and Imnasenla Racheal, and performances were given by Akokla Langu, Cosplay player, Kings Generation, and Wapang Jamir during the grand finale.
The event's designer was Benwang Newmai, with makeup done by Vish Makeover, and hairstyling done by Torechii Jane and Nito Aye.
Tonoto Zhimomi, Mister Altitude World India 2022, groomed, mentored, and choreographed the event, with Ralan Patton, Joliba Sangtam, Bashing Nyam, and Lisebi Sangtam serving as contestant managers.
