Birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira celebrated

The Jain Community in Dimapur Nagaland joined the rest of the world in celebrating the 2617th birth anniversary of their 24th Lord Mahavira on March 29 with many events. A morning and an afternoon procession with showering of Lord Mahavira for World Peace, were also held. With the primary motto of Lord Mahavira ‘Live and let live’, the afternoon procession was started and culminated at Jain Temple after passing through Jain Temple road-Ram Janaki road- GS road- MP road- Nyamo Lotha road- GS road- Kalibari road between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
