BJP Dimapur District on June 7 celebrated the successful completion of 4 years of BJP-led NDA Government in the country at Town Hall, Dimapur in the presence of Minister for Geology & Mining, Soil & Water Conservation, Kashiho Sangtam, Marcofed Chairman, Dr. M. Chuba Ao and a host of party leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Kashiho highlighted on the various achievements of the BJP-led NDA Government at the centre and lauded Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s transparent and clean governance under his leadership. He said that the BJP government had worked to block the route of black money to India from countries like Mauritius, Singapore and Cyprus. “Today, there is not a single village in the country that does not have electricity,” he added.
Kashiho also emphasized on the Modi government’s stress for employment through various schemes. Further, the Minister pointed out that over 7 crore toilets have been constructed in the country under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Dr. M. Chuba Ao who also addressed party workers said that the Modi government had opened 500 free dialysis centres at district hospitals to help the poor and needy patients.
Later, after the programme, the Minister along with BJYM Dimapur President, Khekishe Aye released balloons in the air commemorating 4 years of BJP-led NDA rule and also flagged off a bike rally.
