Zunheboto, May 12 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Zunheboto district unit felicitated BJP MLAs from the district – Kazheto Kinnimi, Advisor for Skill Development, Labor & Employment, CAWD and Khehovi H Sema, Advisor for Tourism, Art and Culture – at district party office here on May 8.
Kazheto Kinnimi, MLA from 31 Akuluto A/C encouraged the party workers to fully co-operate with the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government to bring development in the district, informed a press release from BJP Zunheboto district unit.
Khehovi H Sema of 33 Suruhuto A/C meanwhile dwelt on the plans and programs of the new government. Change, he stated, will take place under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland in the State and Narendra Modi in the Centre.
Shikuto Sema, the party district president lauded the two elected MLAs for bringing laurel to the party.
He pointed out that Zunheboto district had been unable to produce a single BJP MLA in the political history, but the two broke the record this time, according to the release.
The Mandal presidents from Zunheboto, Akuluto, Suruhuto and Satakha attended the function with their Executive members.
