Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): The BJP Peren District celebrated Chavang Kut, the autumn post harvest festival, on November 1 at Lilen Village with Zandi Domta as the chief guest.
During the celebration, Domta called upon the people to unite and bring joy by celebrating the festival.
He also emphasised on the political scenario of Nagaland and declared himself as an intending BJP candidate from 6A/C tening for the ensuing Assembly election of Nagaland, a press note from the unit informed. BJP Peren District President Huzantadbo Meriam also spoke on the occasion and said that district unit is working hard to raise a BJP candidate as MLA in the coming general election.
The meeting discussed and resolved to work hard from grassroot level and strengthen the position of the BJP party, it added.
