BJP to stage ‘dharna’ against corruption on May 27

State executive meeting postponed to May 28

Kohima, May 20 (MExN): BJP Nagaland General Secretary (Spokesman) K. James Vizo has notified all the party workers that, BJP will launch a country wide agitation and awareness campaign from May 27 to June 2 by staging ‘Dharnas’ and giving calls for ‘Jail Bharo Andolan’ in protest against the UPA Government’s frequent malfunctions, gross inaction and rampant corruption.

Therefore, in pursuance of the party high command, the Nagaland BJP Unit will organize a Dharna at the State Capital Kohima on May 27 against corruption of the UPA Government. Detail programmes will be intimated shortly. All party workers are expected to participate full heartily in order to ensured the said Dharna effectively.

The Nagaland State BJP Unit First (1st) State executive meeting scheduled on May 24 has been postponed to May 28 at Bookmarc, Dimapur at 11:00 am. All State executive members newly inducted, Frontal Chiefs, National executive members, District presidents and general secretaries are requested to attend the said meeting positively. National General Secretary and Nagaland State Incharge Tapir Gao and P. Paiwang Konyak, Parliamentary Secretary for Transport will also be attending the said meeting.
