Peren, October 31 (MExN): A block level ASHA training on Aapke Dwar-Ayushman was held from October 27 to 29 at Peren district.
The ‘Aapke Dwar- Ayushman’ initiative is a planned with three key objectives, namely, improving awareness, increasing e-card penetration, and establishing a continuum of care which will ultimately lead to increased utilisation under the scheme, District Media Officer, CMO Office Peren Shekho Sophie informed on Saturday.
The ASHAs were trained on the objectives to increase awareness about the scheme and improve utilisation under the scheme, strategy for awareness drive, AYUSHMAN cards and percentage of families enrolled, key parameters to be monitored etc. They were also trained how to avail services and co-operate with BIS team and operators from partner organisations.
The ASHAs and the Health Care Workers will carry out household verification of eligible households in coordination with the Village Council and the ASHA will get incentives per household verified. During the training the ASHAs were encouraged to mobilize beneficiaries for enrollment and make e-card. After the verification process, the District Implementation Unit (AB-PMJAY) in consultation with the BIS Operator and the Village Council will organise e-card generation drive for enrollment of eligible beneficiaries, the DMO informed.
The resource person for the training was District Community Mobilizer and ASHA Coordinators. Altogether 122 ASHAs from Ahthibung, Jalukie and Tening blocks participated the training.
