The bodies of the two drowned victims at the Doyang dam have been retrieved and handed over to the families. Additional SP, Soriso K Quinker, Wokha informed that the first body was found between 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm on November 24; while the second victim’s body was retrieved around 5:00 am today. The Additional SP also informed that they received the information of the drowning around 6:00 pm in the evening, after which a police team headed by OC Sanis and I/C Doyang outpost was dispatched immediately. An SDRF team was also activated immediately for the search operation. A coordinated search was launched consisting of the administration, Police, SDRF team, local fishermen and the public. Meanwhile, the body of the Moilan drowning victim was retrieved by the villagers on November 23, a few hours after the incident.
