
Dimapur, June 1 (MExN): After a tense week, it has been confirmed today that the body of Moasangba Imchen, who went missing since May 24 from Bendolo, Miri state, Malaysia has been found on the evening of May 31. Moasangba, 24, was working as a technician in the Overseas Merchant Navy vessel. Speaking to The Morung Express, Tinuniken, who is the boy’s father said that since the news of the recovery came too late; a colleague and friend of Moasangba, Roko could go only this morning and identify the body from his jeans and belt. Tinuniken informed that the body was recovered 15 miles away from where the deceased was last seen. However, so far, no reasons were cited for the cause of death. Tinuniken stated that the dead body is in Malaysia and that officials had informed that it would take “some time” to reach home. While expressing gratitude for the help from individuals, organizations and the government, he further appealed for support until the body of Moasangba Imchen reaches Nagaland.
