Peren, February 18 (MExN): The Assam Rifles under Operation SADHBHAVNA 2018-2019 Project donated school furniture and study materials to Government High School, Ahthibung under Peren district on February 18.
The items were almirahs, chairs, study table, office tables and books, stated a press release from the school Headmaster Elvis Singsong.
Assam Rifles officer 2IC Mathew, Jalukie battalion also encouraged the students to take advantage of good quality education and urged them to utilise this new facilities for their overall growth. A total of 215 Students, teachers and villagers attended this ceremony.
