Our greatest leader A.Z. Phizo, president of the Naga National Council (NNC) came to Eastern Nagaland in 1952 and sowed the seeds of Nationalism in Eastern Nagaland. Thence the growth of Nationalism in Khiamniungan Region began and since then the Khiamniungan people strictly followed the footprint of A.Z. Phizo, the father of the Naga Nation. As a result the Khiamniungan Region later on became one of the best havens for the Naga National workers to independently work and strengthen all fronts. Thus most of the prominent national leaders like Muivah, Isak and other national leaders along with their colleagues as well as the Naga Army personnel came and sojourn in Khiamniungan Region.
While on many occasions Muivah and Isak taught us and said “NNC is the only way and NNC is the soul of the Naga Nation. No one can divert from NNC”. Therefore Khiamniungan people considered them as true patriots. So the poorest half naked peasants of Khiamniungan Region host them with highest honor, tirelessly serve and feed them. We contributed them our all and together we fight the enemy. But unexpectedly Muivah and Isak brought out the so-called National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) on 31st January, 1980 and immediately they began to kill Khiamniungan public on 15th February, 1980 and continued till 26th September, 1980 under the Command of Capt. Shangam Tangkhul without any reason. Besides 524 Khiamniungan people have been killed, Houses, Churches, Granaries and All properties of twelve villages were burned down. All kinds of domestic livings consumed and the rest were shot and killed.
At last the Naga Army retaliated and overrun the Headquarters of NSCN at Langnyokniu on 27th September, 1980 and about 30 cadres of NSCN died in the spot. Thus they left Khiamniungan Region and fled towards Heimi Region and Eastern part of Konyak. Then they set up again their Headquarters in Heimi Region and operated Lainung and Khiamniungan areas where killed about 700 people.
Then on 30th April, 1988 a bloody incident occurred among them (NSCN) due to Muivah’s evil policy, killing more than 100 people and they were divided into two groups, viz; NSCN-K and NSCN-IM. Thus the NSCN-IM was kicked out from the Region and they veered towards South-West Nagaland. And where they grew up again by means of guns and killings. Then they came again to Khiamniungan Region and began to kill many Khiamniungan people during 1996 to 2005 through the order of V.S. Atem the then C-in-C of NSCN-IM, whereas V.S. Atem and his family members were rescued by the Khiamniungan elders at Noklak in 1988 during the division of NSCN. But they did like Cain. In this way, the Khiamniungan people have suffered so much and so long in the hands of NSCN led by Muivah and Isak.
So far more than 600 Khiamniungan people have been killed. The half dead widowers, widows and orphans are still crying and living with grief and pain. So the Khiamniungan people have neither forgiven nor forgotten. Forgive and forget belongs to the Khiaminungan people as a whole if it is necessary through customary laws and legal processes, it is not the business of Mr. Langoi, NSCN-IM to forgive and forget. The nationalism of Khiamniungan people was born of NNC and we shall steadfastly continue to hold NNC/FGN. The sugar-coated message will not heal the heartache and pain of Khiamniungan people. Life is much more precious than all. Is there anybody who can reimburse all these? bring back first the lost souls, and let us be friend again.
“For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” ( Matthew 24:24).
The hypocritical color of Thuingaleng Muivah is now crystal clear. He has been traveling around the world with Indian passport and visiting various Naga Regions at present as the chief agent of India by taking permission of Indian Home Ministry with full proof security of India , the aggressor. His ongoing mission is dangerous for the Nagas. More than 3000 Nagas have been killed so far by NSCN led by Muivah and Isak and more may be killed in the days to come. Because wherever Muivah goes, there is bloodshed, division or else. Therefore the democratic Nagas must be aware of Muivah’s socialist culture.
