Neighbourhood Youth Parliament held at Peren
Peren, February 25 (MExN): Neighbourhood Youth Parliament was held at Peren under the theme ‘Building youth leadership for nation development’ at Rezeuki Guest House, Peren on February 25.
A press release received here stated that topics on gender sensitization, tribal administration and constitutional safeguard pertaining to tribes and Right to Information Act were shared by Tsidi Hairang, EAC Peren. Leadership among tribes of Nagaland and its issues was covered by Kingsalt Hegwang, President, NPF General Unit Peren. Puikosing Michui, JE DMA SSA Peren spoke on special schemes for young tribes in Nagaland. Iriecule, APC DRDA Peren highlighted the participants on various programmes and schemes of the Rural Development under Government of Nagaland.
This was followed by prize distribution where Peren Town Youth Organisation was adjourned as the Best Youth Club of the district.
Earlier, invocation was pronounced by Recasile, student co-ordinator ZBCC and welcome address by Iralu H. Zeliang NYV/NYK Peren and it was attended by 50 member from various Youth club and Youth organization from Peren.
