BWWA Nagaland conduct workshop on teaching aids

Kohima, December 6 (MExN): Breeze Women Welfare Association (BWWA), Nagaland conducted one day training cum workshop on low cost/no cost teaching aids at G Rio School on December 2. 

According to a press release from BWWA media cell, the training is part of BWWA’s endeavor to encourage teachers and students to take keen interest in teaching and learning by utilizing low cost teaching-learning aids. Previously a series of training programmes were also conducted at various venues of 4 districts of Nagaland which kick started on November 24 at JNV, Nihokhu.

This programme has been catalyzed and supported by National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, in active collaboration with Kaziranga University, Jorhat and ThinkTac, Bangalore.

The training programme at G Rio School was conducted at three separate sessions and was attended by both teachers and students. The various highlights of the training included a session on low cost /no cost teaching aids by Bipul Sangma, Nabi Hassan and Bobby Bol Zeliang followed by a Student Development Programme (SDP) by Manager of Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Abhijit Bharadwaj and a workshop for students by Pritom Routh, Regional Manager, ThinkTac, Bangalore.
