Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): Keeping in mind, the enveloping and destructive phenomena of media especially social media on young people, the Evangelical Union (EU) of C-Edge College, Dimapur organised ‘a talk on youth and media’ on November 17 at its campus in Manen Hall. The talk was attended by students and faculty.
The resource person for the event was Dilip Kujur, the Director of Way2Kingdom Media Ministry. During his entire talk session, he stressed on the following topics: the media language, social media addiction and the dangers of online games. He deliberated in detail about how young people get hooked to gaming and social media such as facebook, instagram etc. Together with showing video clips, he also talked about the negative and damaging effects of such on the younger generation. Such interactive talk is organised with the view to give awareness to the students and also to help on how to avoid such addiction.
