Kohima, June 5 (MExN): Nagaland’s CAWD & Taxes, Advisor Kudecho Khamo called upon each and every individual to come forward and take responsibility in rebuilding the ecosystem and environment free from pollution. 

Speaking at the Sedzii to Dziilhami phase of mega tree plantation drive of the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) at Sedzü, Thenyizu on June 5, Khamo pointed out that humans have disrupted the planet’s average equilibrium, which is gradually making the environment unfit for living and endangering human existence. He stressed on the need to address the global warming through plantation of trees, preservation of wildlife and flora and fauna. Creating a healthy environment will ensure a cleaner, greener and prosperous future, Khamo said.

CPO Finance Secretary, Satahi Shijoh and Thenyizu Village Council Chairman, Medothi Rhakho also spoke at the programme. Avezo Kevin Kapuh, President, Chakhesang Students Union (CSU) chaired the programme.
