Juboni Beni Tungoe receives award on October 24.
Kohima, October 28 (MExN): Entrepreneur Juboni Beni Tungoe has brought recognition to Nagaland after being named “Women-Led Startup of the Year” at the Global Leadership Summit 2026, held on October 24 at ITC Welcom, Delhi.
The recognition places a spotlight on the entrepreneurial potential emerging from Nagaland and the role of women-led ventures in building diversified businesses, creating market opportunities and strengthening the state’s business landscape.
Tungoe is the proprietor of Lintsen Enterprise, a Class-I contracting and supplying firm in Nagaland, with business interests spanning multiple sectors.
Its ventures include Lintsen Treats, which provides school tiffin catering and canteen services; ALPHABUILD, specialising in uPVC solutions; and Chingu Social & Co., based in Kohima. This diverse portfolio reflects an entrepreneurial approach that extends beyond a single industry, connecting contracting and supply, food services, building solutions and social enterprise.
Organised by the Global Triumph Foundation (GTF), the Global Leadership Summit brought together entrepreneurs and leaders to recognise achievements in leadership, innovation and excellence.
Tungoe’s recognition at the national-level platform brings wider visibility to the business initiatives associated with her work and underscores the contribution of entrepreneurs from Nagaland to India’s evolving enterprise ecosystem.
Her achievement also serves as a reminder of the growing opportunities for homegrown businesses from the Northeast to strengthen their presence, diversify their operations and pursue wider recognition while remaining rooted in their local communities.
