Candlelight homage to November 1 Assam victims

A peaceful crowd of about 500 Bengali and non-Bengali speaking concerned citizens residing in Dimapur on November 3 gathered at West Yard Colony to pay homage and pray for the souls of the five persons who were brutally gunned down by unidentified assailants in Tinsukia district on November 1. During the ‘shradhanjal’ event, people lighted candles and diyas as a mark of solidarity remembering those who were killed.
