Dimapur, November 3 (MExN): The North East Christian University (NECU) will be conducting a Capacity Training and Workshop at Capacity Training Centre at Burma Camp, Dimapur from November 12 to 16. The training is supported by the State Council of Science, Technology and Environment, Meghalaya with an aim to equip the unemployed youth and self help groups with the necessary skills for self employment and sustainability. The workshop will train on how to use firewood-based baking oven, agro-based portable food processing machinery for making jams, face wash, candles; green technologies such as improved Chulha (nil smoke emission), low cost water filter, solar incubation for low cost hatchery, stabilised mud blocks and bamboo technology.
