Our Correspondent Kohima | September 20 Defending champions Naga Football Club will clash with Vanguard Football Club in the final of the 3rd Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament on September 21, 1:00 pm at Kohima Local Ground. The champions will walk away with cash prize of Rs. 1,70,000 while the runners-up will pocket Rs. 80,000. Prizes will also be awarded to semi finalists, golden boot, best player, best custodian and best official. Organized by Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) under the aegis of HQ 3 Corps, the tournament witnessed 24 teams across the state. The tournament is organised in honour of Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, who laid down his life during the Kargil war.
