Career Expo 2013 on May 27

Dimapur, May 22 (MExN): The 6th Career Educational Expo will be organized in collaboration with Peace Channel and State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT), Nagaland on May 27 at Holy Cross Hr. Sec School Campus, Dimapur.

The theme of the day is “Choose Right Career for a Peaceful Life” and the objective is to enable the students to choose the right career for a better life. Highlights would include various opportunities and career options available for the students who have completed Class XII and Graduates who are waiting for the result. 

The event will train our youth with competent trainers on the field. A press note informed that over 45 to 50 educational institutions have consented to participate in the Career Expo 2013, with the participation of over 3000 to 3500 youth from various parts of Nagaland.  

The mega event will be graced by N.Husili Sema IAS, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur as the Chief Guest, Thejakhrielie Jack Sekhose, Joint Director SCERT will be giving the keynote address, and Most. Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima will be giving a message as chairman of the movement. 

The other main speakers of the day are the following: Mohammed Ali Shihab, IAS, (P) Assistant Commissioner, Dimapur will Motivate the youth on Careers in Civil Services; Rev.Fr.Bosco SDB, the Vice Provincial, Salesians of Don Bosco Dimapur will enlighten the youth on the various career options after Class XII and Graduation; Wobenthung J. Patton MSW will be empowering the  youth on the Group Discussion and Mastering interview. The Peace Channel Desk in a press release has requested all the youth of Dimapur to attend this one class. The day’s programme will end with the a performance by the Peace Channel concert Band.
