CBSE affiliated schools of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland held meeting with Regional Officer of CBSE, Guwahati Region, Thongkholet Mate at LFI on January 21.

Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): A one-day meeting of the Principals, Vice Principals, Directors and Administrators of CBSE affiliated schools of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland with the Regional Officer of CBSE, Guwahati Region, Thongkholet Mate, was held at Livingstone Foundation International (LFI) on January 21.
The meeting was attended by all the CBSE affiliated schools of the three districts, LFI stated in a press release.
During his interaction with the heads of schools, the Regional Officer, Thonkholet Mate discussed about the upcoming CBSE Boards examinations to be conducted from February 15 onwards and requested the schools to cooperate with the Regional Office of CBSE in order to make the Board Examination successful in all perspective.
He also briefed the gathering about the various initiatives undertaken by him as the North East Nodal Officer for Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) programme of the Prime Minister of India and called upon the schools to make this programme a huge success across the state along with the rest of India.
The Regional Officer answered many queries brought forth by the heads of schools on matters concerning examinations, centres, deputation of examiners and observers, etc.
Welcoming the gathering, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema, Chairman, LFI exuded optimism that “all the CBSE schools in Nagaland remain united as one family and to involve more in mutual interactions for a cumulative growth and progress of CBSE schools.”
He hoped that in the future even the meritorious students from CBSE schools like their NBSE counterparts would be honoured by the Governor and the State Government for which a united and collaborative effort must be made by all the 46 CBSE schools of Nagaland.
