Dimapur, December 3 (MExN): The Chumukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association (CCCTA) has requested all shopkeepers under its jurisdiction to clean and decorate their business establishments in view of the festive season.
Prizes will be given to the three best decorated shops, a press release from the CCCTA stated. The association has also requested all shops to open till 8:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the CCCTA has expressed serious concern over the forceful donations on the business community from various quarters.
“Christmas is a time of joy and celebration and it is not a time to go imposing donations,” the association stated and warned that it would impose severe penalty on such individual/group.
