The Chakhesang Commercial Drivers’ Union Kohima (CCDUK) today held its annual meeting-cum-picnic at Kruzo Park, Tsiesema in Kohima district. There are over 200 members under CCDUK, engaged in commercial vehicles like taxi, truck, city bus, Tata mobile, JCB etc.
Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) President, Dozhohü Tünyi and Chakhesang Youth Organisation Kohima Vice President, Vetho Vadeo shared greetings.
CHK Finance Secretary Lhüvesayi Lohe, Zhovehü Lohe, advisor CHK, Husazü Epao, Advisor CHK and Veze Tünyi, President, Chakhesang Student Union Kohima also spoke at the event.
The speakers emphasised on strengthening unity among the community and to be faithful to God in whatever capacity/profession they are involving.
The programme was chaired by CCDUK Vice President, Kükhrüseto Nienu while welcome address was delivered by CCDUK President, Küvethi Puro. General Secretary report was given by Vekuvoyi Lohe.
