Kohima, October 19 (MExN): Central Command Centre under Digital Agriculture Mission (DAM) was inaugurated by M Ben Yanthan, Director of Agriculture, Nagaland at the Directorate of Agriculture, Kohima on October 18.
A press release received here stated that the programme was chaired by L Mhao Lotha, Joint Director of Agriculture and the keynote address delivered by Ronchamo Kikon, Nodal/Project Officer, DAM. Akhou Keditsu, Consultant DAM gave a briefing about the Project.
The Central Command Centre will serve to enable the State of Nagaland to develop a database of land resources using aerial photos, latest cloud free processed satellite images, meteorological data, soil survey report, etc in order to provide direction for bringing about an integrated scientific solution in planning, development and monitoring of projects including providing farmers’ advisory services.
