DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 29 (MExN): The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) with Rev Moses Murry, Chairman, Rev Vangphong Phom, Member, Dr Alem Sangtam, President, All Nagaland Theological College Association (NTCA) and Rev Daniel Shyam, Member organised a 2 days relief program at Imphal on November 27 and 28. According to a press release issued by CFD Chairman Rev Moses Murry, a prayer fellowship program was held at Thangkul Baptist Church, Imphal with pastors and evangelist from all denominations on November 27.
Rev Moses Murry gave a short exhortation encouraging them to remain strong and steadfast in the Lord and assured them of CFD' support to raise the voices to the government to allow for rebuilding the churches destroyed during the violence.
During the program, the team provided 330 blankets and financial assistance to the pastors and evangelist. On November 28, the CFD visited 3 Meitei relief camps and provided financial assistance to about 100 families. The program was organised by All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) under the leadership of Rev Simon Raiomai, President, AMCO and their team members.
