Christ for the Nations Bible College, Kohima held its 30th Commencement Ceremony on May 11 with Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Nimo Kath as the Guest of Honor and Associate Pastor of Ao Baptist Church Kohima, Rev Dr Toshi Longu as the guest speaker.
A total of 14 students completed their graduation, which included five Master of Divinity, eight Bachelor of Theology and one Graduate in Theology.
Alem Jamir, H. Chingta Phom, Kahuto and Ngai Khan Man completed their M. Div. Kevingunuo Sothu, K. Libeni Tungoe, H. Phuvini Nekha, Surjay Bahadur, Sherob Tuche, Vinitoli Swu, Vishili and Y Mhabemo Kithan completed their B. Tech while L. Hiampai completed graduation in Theology.
Delivering the message, Rev. Dr. Langu called upon the successful students to trust the lord and move ahead with perseverance in order to receive the crown. “Whatever you do, wherever you go, this is just the beginning,” he said while encouraging them to remain steadfast to whatever profession they take up.
B. Th graduate Kevingunuo Sothu received the Late Rev. Vitokhu Award which was handed over by Board Member Puluvi Vito. Chaired by Lecturer Holito Kibami the ceremony commenced with Board Member Daniel Vito saying the invocation, Lecturer Amenla Kath read scripture portion while principal Khetoshe Chishi delivered the welcome address and Lecturer Toshimen Lkr tendered the voted of thanks. Special songs were presented by Chongkem & Friends.
