Chakhesang National Workers on NTC representation

Chakhesang National Workers Welfare, NSCN/GPRN

The forbearance of the constituents that formed the unmandated NTC unfolds another surprise by allowing to be led by certain disgruntled individuals who are without any endorsement from their Chakhesang community. It is open secret that for long these individuals are all out to derail the ongoing hard earned Indo-Naga peace process, and they found themselves a free-port to dump their divisive policies as was evident from their misleading representation to the Prime Minister of India dated 19th May 2017 followed by press statement dated 29th May 2017.

The Chakhesang National Workers has no desire to create enmity with our brothers and sisters in other NPGs, rather it is our humble prayer that sooner than later they will also join hands and support the ongoing Indo-Naga peace process than prolonging the suffering of our people. Yet, one cannot simply wish away facts that double the numbers of National Workers who have dedicatedly sacrificed the best years of their life are in the NSCN/GPRN even from so called Nagas of Nagaland State alone than all six NPGs all put together and firmly rallying behind his Excellency Gen Retd Khole the Vice President and Th. Muivah the most respected Ato Kilonser. The question of who should be stakeholder is best judged by Naga Peoples.

The NSCN/GPRN by the Grace of God almighty and under the capable leadership of Yaruiwo Lt. Isak Chishi Swu and Th. Muivah the Ato Kilonser has withstood the test of time as the torch bearer of Naga movement both in the home front and even overseas. Have had wide consultative meetings with all concerned after the ceasefire with the GOI in 1997, with every Naga tribes apex bodies and churches of different denomination leaders from four corners of Naga areas of more than 10,000 delegates in 2005, 4th Consultative Meeting had in total unison endorsed Naga Chief negotiator Th. Muivah the most respected Ato Kilonser and Yaruiwo Lt. Isak Chishi Swu to bring about amicable solution through ongoing peace process with GOI. Accordingly, the historic 3rd August 2015 framework agreement was signed by both Lt. Isak Swu, and Th. Muivah. Thus, the fear of hidden agenda against Nagas of Nagaland is unfounded and raw prejudice because the framework agreement is for all Nagas wherever they are.

Therefore, Naga people are least bothered by those in the scheme of things to further divide the Naga family in their vain hope to invoke the spirit of the Old Naga People’s Convention (NPC) of the late 1950s which was engineered by the agents of GOI to rival or hijack the issue from the then undivided NNC, as maturity and vast experienced is on the side of GOI in its long run up against Naga movement that hitherto unknown baby NGO is not the answer to the longest running independent movement in the whole of South East Asia.
