Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CYO) on learning that, one of their member constructing a road from Mimi Khonga Hakumuthi under (PMGSY) scheme phase VIII under Pungro Sub-Division Kiphire District Nagaland, labourers were abducted on 15-3-13 and later release after negotiation . However, again on 9-4-13 all the keys of JCB and trucks were seized and more than 100 labourers working there were threaten to leave the place, said to be ordered by one Colonel from NSCN/GPRN (K) group. So CYO enquired what is the reason for obstructing developmental work, where the people living in the area are neglected developmental works for so long, also it added that when things are settled after the 15th March incident why a member of CYO, Zhapfusatuo Rio, road construction work is repeatedly obstructed. So therefore, CYO while strongly condemning the conduct of the said Colonel, ask him to refrain himself from repeating such destructive action in future. CYO also expressing its faith in all the National Workers striving for genuine cause though may be from different groups, sadly at present, yet, all groups are working for future dreams of Nagas and Nagas interest, should never pose detrimental for welfare of the Nagas, hence requested the higher authority from their group to immediately look in to the matter and settled it at the earliest.
