DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2 (MExN): The Chang Khulei Setshang (Chang Tribal Council) today stated that it would stand firm on the ENPO resolution of August 26, 2022 to abstain from the forthcoming Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections 2023. “Therefore, the intending candidates are restricted from filling nomination within Chang jurisdiction. Stern action will be taken against those who violate this notification,” the council cautioned. It further informed that this notification will be enforced till an amicable solution is resolved for the Eastern Nagas by the Government of India.
