Rev O Alem speaking at the Changki Yimlang Baptist Arogo platinum jubilee celebration.

Mokokchung, December 29 (MExN): The Changki Yimlang Baptist Arogo (church) celebrated its platinum jubilee on the theme ‘Krista Dak Rangben Akangshiba (Fully anchored in Christ)’ at Changki village, Mokokchung on December 27 and 28.
Rev O Alem spoke on the topic ‘Rangben Akangshiba nung Arogo Teinyaktsu (The role of a Church in re-strengthening holistically)’ on December 28.
In his message, the Reverend observed that to re-strengthen holistically, the role of the church is to look after the congregation both physically and spiritually. He asserted that ‘holistic change should be delivered to the congregation by the Church to become one with Almighty.’
Stating that body, soul and the Holy Spirit are one, he said, “We will be convinced of the changes in oneself when we realize and confess our sin and receive salvation in Christ through the Holy Spirit.”
“The way to heaven cannot be delivered to us if we are just a mere Christian instead it will cost us to lose our salvation,” he stated. In this connection, he added, “Whatever success you achieved in life, at the end of the day your personal relationship with God will determine your salvation.”
In the evening service, Professor Alongla P Aier delivered the message.
On day one, Rev Professor Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary ABAM was the main speaker. He also unveiled the jubilee monolith.
