Mokochung, June 6 (MExN): Along with the World, Childline 1098 Team, Mokokchung observed Environment Day under the theme, 'Celebrate Biodiversity,' at the Care and Support Society (CSS) office, Mokokchung on June 5.
During the event, winners of the Painting competition based on the day for both the categories of participants were announced and felicitated with Certificates and cash prizes.
Odichuba, 18 and Aotila Mollier, 15 were adjudged the 1st and 2nd prize winners respectively, for 14-18 years category.
In the 14 years and below category, Taochilong ,13 and Yarina ,10 years were adjudged 1st and 2nd prize winners respectively for the Under 13 category.
The programme was attended by Childline team, Director and Chief Functionary, Imchawati Kichu, Imtitongdang, Deputy Range Officer and Tiatemsula, Forester-1, Forest Department and the Director and Chief functionary, CSS Mokokchung.
Significance of the day was also brought by Talitemsula Forester-1 while the Forest Department also donated saplings to the Care and support Society, Mokokchung.
