
Dimapur, August 23 (MExN): The 66kV Chumu TL power feeder will be shut down for emergency maintenance work of 132 kV Imphal-Dimapur transmission line of the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd from August 25 to 27. According to a press release from the Dr DGM, Dimapur sub-station, as per approval of the Executive Engineer (Transmission), Department of Power, Dimapur, the feeder will be shut down from 5:00 am to 9:00 am from August 25 to 27, affecting power supply in the following areas: Chümoukedima town; Chümoukedima A; Chümoukedima village; Seithekema; Naga United; Old Showuba; New Showuba to Vihokhu village; Naga United; 7th Mile Model Village; Tenyiphe 1; Tenyiphe 2; Virazouma; Shokhuvi; Vidima; and Kiyeto. “We regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers during the proposed shut down period,” it added.
