Sovima, May 7 (MExN): Chümoukedima district emerged victorious in the Senior Men’s Inter-District One Day Tournament 2024, defeating Niuland in the final at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium today.
Niuland batted first but were restricted to a modest 132 runs in 36.1 overs. Chümoukedima chased down the target comfortably in 45.5 overs, winning the match by 4 wickets.
Sedezhalie Rupreo of Chümoukedima was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’ in the final for his gritty knock of 51 runs off 125 balls. The tournament was organized by the Nagaland Cricket Association.
