MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 1 (MExN): Training on Non-Communicable Diseases application for CHOs and ANMs was conducted on September 29 at THE CMO Conference Hall, Mokokchung. 

The training was organized by NPCDCS, NHM, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare with technical support from TATA TRUSTS. The training aimed to enumerate all individuals from 30 years and above for hypertension, diabetes, oral cancer, cervical cancer and breast Cancer and provide assistance in tablet usage for uploading data on Non communicable Disease enrollment and Screening.

Dr Mereninla Senlem Joint Director and SPO NPCDCS presented an overview on National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardio Vascular Diseases and Stroke. She urged the trainees to increase NCD enrollment in their respective health units.

The resource person for the training was Vitsiatho Nyuwi (TATA TRUSTS SPO). The team was accompanied by Dr. Ebenezer Phesao MO (NCD) and State NCD cell staff from Directorate of Health & Family Welfare.
