Chotisuh Sazo call for unity

Kohima | May 27 : Parliamentary secretary for social welfare & women development Chotisuh Sazo today called upon all concern to be united, steadfast and committed to the principles of the party.
Speaking at the executive meeting of 18th Chozuba A/C Naga Peoples’ Front here at Hotel Millennium, Sazo highlighted the various programmes and activities undertaken by DAN government.
As active facilitator for bringing a lasting solution to the protracted Indo- Naga imbroglio, the government has been working ceaselessly, Sazo said adding that government is committed to providing gainful employment to the youth.
Further with an attempt to usher in peace and development, the government has also come out with the slogan “peace for development and development for peace”, he said.
Sazo also said that the DAN government has been working for the empowerment of women and resultantly Nagaland has been awarded the best small state category Diamond award for Women empowerment.
Meanwhile, the House reiterated its confidence and hope in the leadership of Chotisuh Sazo for his painstaking efforts for ameliorating the plight of the constituency and the party people.
The party also applauded and congratulated Toshipokba who has recently won the bye election held at 26th Aolendang Assembly constituency.
“His winning the bye election has amply demonstrated the belief and faith of the Naga people on the regional party ably led by Dr. Shurhozelie Party President and Hon’ble Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio,” it said.
The members also expressed “our bliss of being part of the political Party which is deeply rooted in the rich ethos of our people and culture” and also congratulated the far sightedness of the leadership for expanding the Party to Naga inhabited areas to espouse the cause of our people.
The House also appreciated the unity cemented amongst all the legislators of Phek district by Kuzholuzo Nienu, minister for health & family welfare.
“This unity forged has enabled the legislators to supplement and complement each other in helping the party functionaries in the district,” the party said.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Pusahu Tetseo, president 18th Chozuba Constituency NPF. Pusazo Luruo vice president NPF and. Nuzota Swuro Ex MLA also exhorted the gathering.
Both of them stressed that the party men and women should remain united to strengthen the party at all levels.
Besides, they also called upon the party members to be honest, upright and have shared understanding.
