Chozuba demands better BSNL service

Kohima | January 24 : Following the poor service of BSNL at Chozuba for the last past couple of months back, and subsequently official approach to the concerned authority for the enhancement of the same which stays unattended till date, the subscribers of the BSNL expressed its discontentment over the total negligence of the subscribers genuine plead.
Talking to the Morung Express, Lhuyisa, the president of Chozuba Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (CTCSU) said, the tower which was provided through microwave since its inception of service installation remain without any improvement till date. Despite the availability of the tower under regular basis for the past couple of months back, the service remain very poor till date.
A subscribers while had to make a calls for three minutes job, has to make at least six to eight calls so as to meet his needs for it used to get line disconnected after twenty to thirty minutes asserted CTCSU president adding this practice has been affecting the town for the last few couple of months back.
Stating that the so called ongoing service facility has badly hampering the functioning of the dwellers in their dealings he added the business community was the worst affected and urge the concerned authority to do the needful at the right time thereby get avoid of public agitations
He further pointed out that BSNL is the only telecom service making available in the Sub-division head quarter town, Lhuyisa on behalf of the people of the town and the region, urged the department to pay a heed attention in the very matter so as to keep a healthy relationship between the people and the department.
Warning the department, ‘on failing to comply with the genuine desires of the people the department shall be held responsible for any untoward agitations by the people’. He added that the situation should be kept without increasing its degree by initiating things at the right time.
