Folk dance event at Chozubami citizens' day on January 28.
Kohima, January 29 (MExN): The Chozubami Citizens' Day was celebrated under the aegis of Chozubami Razuve Hoho from January 27 to 28 at the Chozuba village in Phek district.
It was attended by all the Chozubami residing within and outside village witnessing a mammoth gathering of 3500 people. Folk dances, folk songs and traditional games marked the celebration.
Introductory service was graced by Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, Nagaland Baptist Church Council as the main speaker.
Neposo Thelüo, (IAS), Commissioner & Secretary for Rural Development Department, Nagaland graced the cultural day as the special guest. Theluo encouraged the community to preserve the rich culture and traditions.
