The year 2022 is coming to an end and Christmas is approaching at our door step to wish one another with the message of love and forgiveness. The reason we celebrate the birth of Christ is because "God loves us and so He gave us his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have an eternal life. The birth of Christ reminds us that, God loves unity and not divides and therefore, let this season brings the love for oneness and progress together as a people of Christ.
Keeping this in mind, we sincerely appeal to every Naga people to forgive one another and embrace together with renewed vision of hope, so as to face the new challenges with the dawn of New Year 2023.
May God grant us wisdom and understanding and celebrate the best Christmas in our lives. The Naga Hoho wishes everyone a blessed Christmas season and a prosperous New Year 2023.

We prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with holidays, gatherings and feasting with friends and family as an integral part of Christmas season. During this joyous time, we also remember the many near and dear ones we have lost along the way through two years of Pandemic and an emerging hectic year. Let us be thankful for the ultimate Sacrifice of the Son of God to redeem us from our sins. Let us also be thankful for He continues to guide and keep his people though troubled waters.
There is a serious disturbance of mind with the threat of disintegration of Nagaland under which, we are going to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Let us all pray through this season for the brotherhood of Nagaland to prevail for a united Nagaland. As we also prepare to face the 2023 election – a once in 5 years’ time opportunity to choose our leaders, may we prepare to exercise our Franchise with a clear conscience to elect God-fearing leaders to steer the people of Nagaland towards a better future which can be felt and seen.
