
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): The Nagaland State Tourism, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Swadesh Darshan 2.0 has announced the Chumoukedima Tourism Logo and Tagline Design Competition 2023.
A report from the DIPR informed that taglines must be no longer than 6 words; must be in English only; participants must ensure that original tagline phrases are submitted. Plagiarized submissions, such as those taken directly from existing campaigns and products, will result in disqualification; and copyright of all taglines submitted under the competition shall lie with the Department of Tourism, GoN.
It was further informed that logo designs must be at least 10cm x 10cm and not larger than 21cm x 14.8cm (A5 size) in landscape orientation. Logos must have 3 variations: 2 distinct color options and a third in black & white; and participants must ensure that original logos are submitted.
Logos generated from Generative Art tools such as midjourney or stable Diffusion will result in disqualification. Logos may be designed on a digital platform such as MS Paint, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, etc. In such a case, the logo must be in high resolution, and the quality must not be less than 300 DPI to avoid blurring and pixelation.
Logos should be usable on digital media such as websites/social media like Facebook and Instagram, as well as printed promotional material such as brochures, magazines, hoardings, leaflets, souvenirs, etc.
Winning entries will be published on the official Nagaland Tourism website and social media pages or local newspapers. The winners shall also receive a Digital Certificate.
