Dimapur, May 6 (MExN): The Chungtia Disabled People Organization (CDPO) was started in the year 2013 under Care & Support Society with the aim and objective to work for the welfare and upliftment of the disabled people of Chungtia village.
Recently, the Organisation has started selling cucumber at Mariani Road near Chungtia village by procuring the cucumber by wholesale through the cultivator at the farm. Care and Support Society Managing Director Imchawati Kichu stated in a press release that while contacting them, they said that if given the opportunity and empowered they are ready to do their best in doing whatever task they are assigned to do.
“It encourages that though they are disable in some way, yet the term “Differently Able” denote, they can do a lot of things differently in their own way,” Imchawati Kichu added.
