Civil Services Day on April 21-22

Kohima, April 20 (DIPR): The Civil Services Day is scheduled to celebrate on April 21 and 22 respectively at the Administrative Training Institute Kohima where Chief Minister of Nagaland, T.R. Zeliang will grace the inaugural programme as the chief guest at 10:00 am on April 20.   The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Finance Commissioner, P & AR and Sericulture Department, Temjen Toy, IAS will be the chair person who will also deliver the welcome speech. The Chief Secretary, Pankaj Kumar, IAS will deliver the opening remarks. The chief guest will be inaugurating the Personal Information & Management System (PIMS).   In the inaugural session, website of P & AR department, civil list 2016 in the website of P & AR department, compendium of important office memoranda, notification 2016 in the website of P & AR department will be released.

  The Secretary, P & AR and Tourism, Angau I. Thou IAS will pronounce the vote of thanks.   On 22nd April at the valedictory function, the Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, R. Benchilo Thong IAS will be chairing the programme. Valedictory address will be delivered by the State Chief Secretary where the Director ATI, Lithrongla G. Chishi will pronounce the vote of thanks.   ‘Motivational talk on communitization’ presentation and overview on communitization, group discussion, group presentation and recommendations, presentation by two Deputy Commissioners for best performing VDBs, VDB experience by President VDB Association, Nagaland or two best VDB secretaries, group discussion, presentations and recommendations on VDB are some of the highlights of the programme.   Banuo Z. Jamir IAS (Rtd) Chief Secretary Nagaland and Toshi Aier IAS (Rtd) Chief Information Commissioner, Nagaland Information Commission will be the invitee panelists.   It has been informed that all AHoDs & HoDs should be present in all the programmes. All departments including Directorates should depute at least 5 (five) senior officers in the rank of Under Secretary/ Deputy Director and above for all the sessions. The communitization department should also attend on the session –II (Day II) on April 22 compulsorily. All officers are requested to report to the ATI by 9:00 am on April 21 for registration.
