Kuda Razha Angamipfü Khrotho celebrates Golden Jubilee  

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The Kuda Razha Angamipfü Khrotho (KRAKS) celebrated its golden jubilee at Greenwood School auditorium on October 14 with Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, Chairman of Ura Academy, Kohima as its chief guest.  

Dr. Shürhozelie, who attended the function with his wife Khotuo-ü acknowledged every women leaders from different field and said of all celebration in history and from the reflection of Biblical truth that on such occasion “Prisoner are set free, debt are forgiven, exiled return home during Golden Jubilee.”  

“However, in civil society we must resolve issues and do away with prejudice and unite to co-exist in truth and honesty to build new relationship. We must strive to refine our relationship through retrospection evaluation to prospect to co-exist and dwell in unity,” he said.  

“Women must know that they are the role model for their children so they must replicate their authenticity of the rich culture especially the Angami Language must be articulate correctly so that their children can carry on to the next generation with truth and respect to preserve in the years to come. Let all Angami women dwell with other section of life imparting dignity, honesty and respect for one another and live out and exemplary life,” Dr. Shürhozelie stated in conclusion.  

A press release stated that earlier, Nimeno Liegise with Sunday school children started the programme with flags and tambourine choreography. The programme was highlighted with a song, “Angamipfii Kevi” written by Late Chavino Peseyie. Kuda Village women presented the Jubilee song; Tenyiphe-1 sang the Golden Jubilee Song in traditional tune. A silent moment was observed in remembrance of departed soul of its members. The Souvenir Magazine “Seweda Huodo 1967-2017” released by chief guest. Excellent academic girl students were acknowledged. Angami Gazetted officers were acknowledged for bearing the torch.
